Cameron DYNATORQUE AWWA grade actuators are constructed to the rigorous requirements of AWWA specification C504. Actuators in this category are totally enclosed, weatherproof, and permanently lubricated. These units are suitable for use in above ground, buried and submerged service applications with handwheel, chainwheel, or operating nuts.
Standard materials are cast gray or ductile iron, but the line also offers a varied selection of alternate materials to meet customer application requirements.

To Find: Handwheel diameter for given output torque at a given rim effort: Divide the output torque by the mechanical advantage and multiply the result by 2. Then divide this result by the handwheel rim effort.
